MediaDailyNews: ARF Taps New Research Chief, Suggests Shift From ‘Engagement’ To Brand Focus

In a move that suggests a broader shift toward brand-focused research, the Advertising Research Foundation has tapped a leading consumer product and brand research executive to serve at its new chief research officer. The ARF’s new top research guru, Joel Rubinson, joins from Aegis Group’s Synnovate unit, where he senior vice president-head of advanced solutions. Previously, he was a consultant focusing on “shopper media,” and prior to that a long-time executive at NPD Group.
